A safe haven for healing
Therapeutic Approach
My primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for my clients.
My work is informed by the belief that you bring personal strengths, resources, and/or faith to your counseling experience, all of which can help you move toward healthier and more satisfying life patterns.
Rooted in attachment science, I use a family systems lens to help us explore our deep human need to be loved for who we are—and the fears that arise when we don’t feel secure in these relationships. You will explore how you see yourself, how you believe others see you, how you express your need for deep connection, and why it matters.
I encourage my clients to actively participate in the process, collaboratively create their treatment goals, and learn to use their strengths to work towards these goals. Clients emerge from therapy with greater emotional flexibility and resilience allowing them to engage more fully in their life and relationships.
Your sense of connection is deeply tied to your emotional experience and emotional reactions within your primary relationship. Learn new, clearer ways to express and respond to your self and your spouse or family as you gain your balance with your deepest attachment emotions.
While I specialize in healing and enhancing relationships, I have special interest in:
Marital distress
Feeling stuck
Family life transitions
Facing major decisions
